First off, I love the senior housing real estate industry and have a strong passion to help cultivate it's continued growth and success. Unlike many other real estate asset classes, seniors housing is largely focused on the operations, which includes the quality of care for the residents. I believe this factor combined with the staggering growth and shift in the 65+ demographics over the next 10-20 years makes this a very unique and exciting place to be.

Graduating with undergraduate degrees in real estate and marketing, I first entered into the industry as an associate for one of the largest seniors housing and healthcare consulting and advisory firms in the U.S. It was here where I first discovered my true passion for the industry. Not only did I have the opportunity to visit and tour properties across the country, but I also had the chance to dissect and understand the optimal operational practices from the leading national and regional operators. This includes effective marketing practices, care programming, departmental staffing, risk management, demographic analysis, proforma/budgeting, and expense management.

Although I enjoyed the eight years assisting developers, lenders, and institutional investors in the valuation, market study, and feasibility analysis, I found my passion shifted from the consulting to the investment side of the industry. In early 2012, I joined the investment team of a growing non-traded REIT specializing in senior housing and healthcare real estate investments. During this time, I assisted the team in identifying, underwriting, structuring, modeling, financing, and ultimately closing new acquisition and development projects. In 2014, I joined the team of another larger non-traded healthcare REIT in Orlando, where I focused on all stages of the acquisition, development, and the investment process. At both firms, I had had the opportunity to work alongside some of the leading and most respected industry veterans. In 2017, I decided to follow my passion and start a consulting firm dedicated to helping select seniors housing owners, developers, operators, and investors achieve their desired growth goals ( Overall, I feel my background evaluating operational fundamentals, along with solid relationships within the industry, has led me to help identify projects with strong value fundamentals as well as favorable upside potential. I've paired this experience with advanced real estate finance and investment courses I completed during a Masters of Science in Real Estate at the University of Central Florida.
